We ask of you to evoke heavenly mercy on behalf of אנ”ש and all Jewish communities the world over who find themselves in a horrific situation due to the coronavirus that has spread in many communities of אנ”ש and כלל ישראל, and in particular, in our community, Crown Heights, כאן צוה ה’ את הברכה. Numerous members of אנ”ש have already passed away, רחמנא ליצלן, from this dreaded disease, and it is rapidly spreading in other Jewish communities around the world. Moreover, many of אנ”ש and many Yidden around the world are very ill and are in desperate need of miraculous intervention for רפואות and ישועות.
Due to the situation, all yeshivos and shuls have been closed—in following the instructions of the Rabbonim and the medical community—for fear that the virus should not further spread. Most Yidden around the world are isolated in their homes, per the instructions of the doctors and local laws. Many Yidden, especially the elderly, are home literally alone. In person shiurim and farbrengens are no longer possible due to the instructions of the Rabbonim and local ordinances that do not allow for gatherings.
We ask and beg of the Rebbe that he should daven on our behalf and on behalf of our families, among כלל ישראל around the world:
That the disease should be immediately eradicated and the situation should rapidly improve; that there should be no more sickness or deaths among אנ”ש and among all Yidden; that we all should be blessed with good health—so that we can serve Hashem with health and vitality—physical health and spiritual health; that those who need a רפואה should be blessed with a רפואה שלימה immediately and in a completely miraculous way; and that from here on, only revealed goodness and kindness should be our lot, materially and spiritually.
That we should merit the fulfilment of the blessing, “I will remove illness from you midst” and a cure for this illness should be discovered and there should be no harm caused to אנ”ש or any Yidden, wherever they may be—not bodily harm and not financial harm.
That Hashem should fulfil our hearts’ desires for good and for blessing, materially and spiritually—revealed good only! That we should all have only health, tranquility and joy. That Hashem should have mercy on us and extract us from this terrible situation and darkness and lead us to a place of plenty, light, and גאולה. That we should merit to see the fulfilment of the Rebbe’s ברכה and assurance “הנה הנה משיח בא”.
That the hearts of כלל ישראל across the globe should be awakened—especially during this time—to strengthen their תורה ומצוות and their אמונה in the coming of משיח; and that we should prepare ourselves and the entire world for קבלת פני משיח צדקנוץ
