Over two-hundred 8th grade boys from around the world gathered together for an unforgettable Chidon trip, culminating in an incredible Shabbos in Crown Heights as part of the Ultimate Chidon Experience.
After years of dedication and consistent work, these Chidon boys achieved something truly remarkable: They mastered all 613 mitzvos! Their journey of learning came to an epic and uplifting finale over four powerful days filled with inspiration, excitement, and meaningful experiences.
The trip kicked off on Wednesday evening with registration and orientation at the JCM, where the boys met their counselors, reviewed the program, and got energized for the coming days ahead.
Thursday began bright and early, with the day’s activities leading up to an incredible event in Boro Park: the Chidon International Siyum HaMitzvos Event, where the boys’ knowledge and hard work were celebrated in a lively atmosphere!
After the program, the boys set out for an afternoon full of fun activities, starting off with skating, which was then followed by Mincha and supper. The excitement continued as they traveled to the American Dream Mall, where they enjoyed the water park and later went skiing at Big Snow. It was a packed and exhilarating day, ending late at night as they headed to Morristown for some well-earned rest.
Friday morning began with Chassidus and davening, followed by a lavish breakfast. The boys then paid a visit to Sky Zone, where they had an amazing time. After an action-filled morning, they traveled to Crown Heights to prepare for Shabbos.
Shabbos was the true highlight of the trip.
The boys davened together in 770 with a tremendous chayus! The seudos were filled with singing, divrei Torah, and strong achdus. Throughout Shabbos, the boys took part in farbrengens, a scavenger hunt, and awesome competitions where they showcased their bekius in all 613 mitzvos.
Motzei Shabbos continued with a beautiful program including Havdalah, Living Torah, writing panim, and Melava Malka. After Melava Malka, the boys broke into spirited dancing led by Mendy Kraus and Chony Zucker.
Finally, on Sunday morning, the boys went to the Ohel, where they had the opportunity to daven. They then visited the Rebbe’s house before heading off to the Grand Banquet.
As the trip came to a close, it was clear that its impact would extend far beyond these four days, with new friendships and lasting memories that will stay with the boys for years to come.
A tremendous thank you to all the staff and counselors who made this incredible experience possible!
