Davey has the most caring heart ever. I would babysit for the kids at times and he would bring me food from the Yeshivah or if there was an event happening.m he always medure sure to bring something back. He always thought of others and his kindness was shown thru actions. I lived in Flatbush and after dropping off the girls in Crown Heights he would drive me the extra 25 min home. I met him the first time when I was 12 and I didn’t speak English and had recently moved from Vienna, and he always made sure I… Read more »

So sorry to hear.
BDE. he is a real nice sweet warm kind and believable person we will all miss him so much, and we will always have sweet joyful memories of him
“Reverend” Dave will be sorely missed! He was the backbone of the Worcester community; serving as an administrator in the yeshiva, vaad, kashrut supervisor, chevra kaddisa, chazzan…… and above all a true mentch!
Davey’s greatness wasn’t what he said, rather, it was what he didn’t say. He truly fulfilled, “say little and do much.”
I will truly miss his beautiful voice, calm demeanor, all knowing smile, and sincere friendship.
May the family not know of any more sorrow.
Also, Rabbi Chaim Fishman should see much yiddishe/chassidishe nachas from all his children and grandchildren.
Fondly,
Zalkind Blum
The most amazing person I’ve ever met his kindness…his abilities to cheer someone up when their feelings are low….and a true tzadik …the way he would go out of his way to help someone in need..but his family was number1 always..if anything was needed he’d drop it and go …I know he’s going straight to gan eden. I’ve no doubts. .the family should never feel such a loss and should have much comfort..MOSHIACH NOW…ONE OF THE 36 HAS GONE
