Over 250 supporters and guests gathered at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York to celebrate 37 years of Tzivos Hashem, the largest Jewish Children’s organization worldwide.
The gala on Sunday, November 26, praised the organization which inspires, enthralls and enriches the lives of Jewish children from all backgrounds, and gives them access to the wisdom and richness of their tradition and heritage.
The evening began with a delicious buffet dinner, as well as a silent auction with an array of beautiful prizes.
The program continued in the theatre, where Stephanie Simon, Arts Reporter for NY1 was the evening’s emcee.
She began with a live interview of Friendship Circle participants, where the audience got a glimpse of the impact of Tzivos Hashem.
Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive Director of Tzivos Hashem, presented the Eishet Chayil award to Dr. Marcia Robbins-Wilf, for her sincere dedication to the children of Tzivos Hashem around the world.
Chairman of the Board, Mr. Joseph Popack presented the Memorial Award to Mr. Alan Auerbach, in memory of his father, Mr. Chaim (Hy) Auerbach of Blessed Memory.
The highlight of the evening was a musical and comedy production by Cantor Yanky Lemmer and Yoely Leibowitz, entitled Wandering and Wondering – A tale of survival through spirituality, culture, comedy, and song.
Guests walked away inspired by the amazing work that Tzivos Hashem does around the world while enjoying a beautiful evening.
