Tzivos Hashem at Oholei Torah in Crown Heights wrapped up this year with a grand celebration this past Monday, Erev Rosh Chodesh Tammuz. Over 4500 gifts and awards were distributed, recognizing the achievements of the 1000 talmidim in the elementary division.
The prizes were earned over the past few months, as the talmidim diligently completed the Tzivos Hashem missions.
The rewards included medals, Tzivos Hashem rank cards and books, Chidon Pirkei Avos prizes, Chidon Hamitzvos Awards and the Oholei Torah Tzivos Hashem Prize Store orders.
Parents were most grateful and appreciative to Oholei Torah for the Tzivos Hashem missions.
Grades Pre-1A through 4 awards were distributed in the main ballroom of the campus. Grades 5 thru 8 received awards at an assembly in the elementary shul led by Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, Menahel of that division. Each talmid had all his awards neatly arranged together in an orderly fashion and easily accessible.
It has been the most challenging times for the Tzivos Hashem office to rally the talmidim, being out of the school environment, but when they saw the excitement on the faces of the boys was worth all the work in arranging it all!
Tzivos Hashem at Oholei Torah is entering the 7th year and is run by Oholei Torah Base Commander Rabbi Mendel Levin.
