On Thursday, the Vaad Hatmimim organization held an event at Beis Rivkah Hall to bid farewell to the thousands of bochurim who came to spend the month of Tishrei 5784 with the Rebbe in Crown Heights.
The event took place after a busy month of programs, classes, gatherings, trips to the Ohel, and more, alongside meeting the material needs of the bochurim, such as sleeping accommodations and meals. Everything was organized by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim under the leadership of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Altein.
The event opened with the recitation of Tehillim following the guidance of the Rebbe, in light of the situation in Eretz Yisrael.
The event was attended by respected Mashpiim and Rabbonim from Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Eretz Yisrael. Additionally, the Mashpia of Yeshiva 770, Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi, took part in the event. The event was led by Rabbi Yaakov Marton, and speeches were given by Rabbi Yosef Vigler, the Rebbe’s Shliach in Flatbush, and Rabbi Rafael Nachman Dubov, a Mashpia in Oholei Torah.
In the past month, thanks to the worldwide hospitality of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim, the bochurim did not have to worry about food and accommodations, enabling them to focus on the true purpose of their visit, to be close to the Rebbe in the month of Tishrei.
