The streets of Crown Heights will once again pulse with the joy of Purim this year, with the annual ‘Purim on Wheels’ trucks.
Organized by R’ Moshe Rubashkin, the trucks drive through the streets of Crown Heights playing lively music and videos of the Rebbe. Adults and children alike are swept into the festivities, and join along with a l’chaim, singing and dancing.
The trucks will begin driving at 10:30 AM on Friday morning, and will continue until late in the afternoon. All are invited to join in with the celebrations!
A live stream of the celebrations will be featured exclusively on COLlive for all to join in from around the world.

With Purim this year on a Friday, time is limited, but the simcha must be increased! In 5741, the Rebbe came into shul unexpectedly on Friday afternoon and said a ma’amar, then said l’chaim and encouraged the small crowd to say l’chaim without limitations! In a letter sent before Purim, the Rebbe also encouraged the celebrations to continue until Sunday! So let’s say l’chaim, celebrate, and use every moment of Purim for simcha!
