OTEG – Oholei Torah Eighth Grade program, run by Rabbi Yossi Bryski, presented over 30 kinds of exotic fruit to grades 5 -8 in honor of Tu B’shvat.
The students learned about the various fruits, the laws of making the bracha Shehecheyanu and ate from the fruits presented.
OTEG is an ongoing program that encourages the eighth grade students in extra curricular activities, Mivztoim, shabbatons and farbrengens. The program sometimes includes some of the younger grades as well.
