With polls tightening in New Jersey, President Donald Trump has called on the state’s Orthodox Jewish community to come out in full force for Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli.
In a late-night post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:
“The Orthodox Jewish communities all across America voted in very big numbers for me, and in record numbers in some locations. Lakewood, New Jersey, was one of our biggest Wins anywhere in the Country, with more than 90% of the Vote.
“On November 4th, the eyes of the Country are on New Jersey again. I need ALL of my supporters in the Orthodox community in Lakewood and its surrounding towns to vote in HUGE numbers for Jack Ciattarelli.
Jack will be a great Governor, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement. He will cut your Taxes, and tremendously reduce your out of control and skyrocketing Energy costs — whereas his opponent will double, triple, and even quadruple your Energy and other costs. New Jersey is near and dear to my heart — SAVE NEW JERSEY!!!”
The race to replace term-limited Governor Phil Murphy is one of the closest in the nation. A recent AtlasIntel poll showed Democrat Mikie Sherrill at 50.2% and Republican Jack Ciattarelli at 49.3%, well within the margin of error.
Sherrill, a Navy veteran and former prosecutor who has served in Congress since 2019, is focusing her campaign on affordability and education.
Ciattarelli, a former state assemblyman and business owner, is emphasizing tax cuts, less regulation, and what he calls a more efficient state government. He lost narrowly to Murphy in 2021.
Lakewood — home to one of the largest Orthodox Jewish populations in America — has been a stronghold for Republicans in recent years. Observers say that turnout in Lakewood and surrounding towns could play an important role in what remains a very close race.
Early voting is already underway across New Jersey, and both campaigns are pushing hard to get out the vote before polls close on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4.
It’s Interesting how it specifically for Lakewood, New Jersey. But it’s nice to see that he cares.

Would be nice to see more effort made to stop Mamdani, by supporting Cuomo. The only candidate who can stop the antisemite.
Last time I checked neither Mamdani nor Cuomo were competing with Ciattarelli

Thank you to president trump for weighing in on the mayoral race as well, and bravo to the Satmar leaders also, for standing against the antisemitic Mamdani and endorsing the only candidate who can stop him: Andrew Cuomo. I say this personally as a Republican and no great fan of him. He is the only man who can stop Mamdani and so he needs our support and votes.
President Trump: This is a job for a joint Mossad-CIA operation.
