President Donald Trump hosted a delegation from Watergen USA, which uses Israeli technology to produce water from air, at Mar-a-Lago earlier this week.
The President was briefed by the delegation on the innovative technology and discussed ways to implement it in the United States and around the world.
Present were Ed Russo, CEO of Watergen USA, and Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, President of the company. The two briefed the president about Watergen’s plans to open a factory in South Carolina that will employ hundreds of Americans.
The President thanked the delegation for creating jobs for American citizens, invited them to showcase the innovative technology at the White House and wished them a kosher and happy Passover.
Watergen USA manufactures and markets water from the air machines using Atmospheric Water Generator technology. The machines use moisture in the air to produce clean, healthy drinking water.
The company’s largest machine has the capacity to produce up to 6,000 liters of water a day. Watergen USA has already collaborated with the US administration, most recently in Texas during Hurricane Harvey, when the company partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to supply water manufactured with its technology to destroyed areas.
