A wrong-way driver turned violent in the early hours of Tuesday morning after striking a car near Union Street and Schenectady Avenue in Crown Heights at approximately 1:00 AM.
When a witness approached to notify him of the collision, the driver responded by assaulting him, punching him in the stomach.
Crown Heights Shmira arrived quickly and the NYPD promptly placed the suspect under arrest.
