This past Shabbos, the members of Chabad in the Toronto community got together for a Grand Friday night meal and Shabbos day Seudas Shabbos Kiddush. Rabbi Yossi Paltiel was brought down to inspire men, women, and children as well.
The entire weekend was really one long farbrengen as Rabbi Paltiel encouraged the listeners to strengthen their hiskashrus.
Perhaps the most beautiful part of the entire event was the feeling of achdus, of unity it brought among community members. Sitting together at a beautifully arranged table, in a beautifully decorated room where the wine was tasty and the delicious food flowed, a special kind of closeness was created.
The excitement was palpable, all felt welcome. A successful kids program ran simultaneously with the Friday night seuda so the adults could focus on Rabbi Paltiel.
A tremendous yasher koach to Yossi and Lilach Reinitz and all those that initiated and planned this beautiful Shabbos Hakhel!

They are a true example of what dedication to a community is!
May they be blessed for all they’re kindness.
And everything in the article is so true. This shabbos brought a much needed and special Achdus and connection within our community! Kol hakovod to pillars of our community the Reinitz’s for their hard work and deep care.
Thank you to the Reinitz, Antebi, Idan Cohen, Meyers, Castle, and others for helping sponsor and execute this luxurious evening that brought about a warm, unified feeling, reminding us what a special hidden gem Toronto is. Lilach and Yossy are pillars of our community who spearhead the action of most projects, large and small. We are truly a gebenched community.
