Students of Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch Queens returned to yeshiva this week at the start of the new Zman kayitz – and were surprised to see the extensive renovations done in the dormitory over Pesach break.
Additionally, the basement floors of the dorms were converted into special rooms for the bochurim’s convenience during their free time.
During breaks, the bochurim can now enjoy a reading library with comfortable, inviting sitting areas, or spend time in the game room, or take care of their physical health on the treadmills and other healthy exercise equipment.
After getting over their excitement at the inviting dorms and fresh paint smells, the bochurim proceeded to the main study hall, where another surprise awaited – the Yeshiva rented an additional floor above the study hall and set up spacious classrooms along with a teachers’ room and administrative offices.
Following the opening address by the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sharf, who blessed the vaad hapoel for their extraordinary efforts for the temimim, a representative of the vaad, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusewitz, and the Menahel, Rabbi Menachem Mendel HaKohen Hendel, spoke.
The members of the Hanhala affixed the mezuzos in the new floor, and afterwards sat with the talmidim for a farbrengen on Chof-Ches Nissan, rousing them to accept good hachlatos to bring the hisgalus of the Rebbe now!

Looks very nice.
