The Jewish Drama Club of Crown Heights will be performing a live musical about the story of Yosef today, Sunday, March 6th.
The drama club is directed by Naomi Levin and is comprised of a group of Crown Heights girls. The group meets weekly and has been practicing for months to prepare for today’s show.
The club focuses on team building and supporting of peers, Levin told COLlive.com.
“With different drama exercises to kick off our sessions, and through different improvisational activities, students are able to find their own voice and build their self-esteem.”
The show will take place at the Jewish Children’s Museum for women and girls, with two shows at 5:30 pm and 6:15 pm.
