Israel captured the Old City of Jerusalem uniting the city for the first time since the establishment of the State in 1967.
The Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount were liberated during the 1967 Six Day War. The day is marked in Israel as “Jerusalem Day.”

actually, the jordanians held Yerushalayim for only 19 years (1948 to 1967.) however, during that time they managed to desecrate everything holy in the city including the shuls and cemeteries ( where they removed matzaivos to use for paving their streets.) these are the more “moderate” arabs, the ones we are supposedly able to communicate with in civilized fashion. if these are among the “best” of Israel’s neighbors, imagine what the worst are like and try to explain how the world expects us to seriously “make peace” with them. we need Moshiach now!
