Thursday evening, a mezuzah was affixed and the new, large sleeping tent in Crown Heights was inaugurated, designated for the hundreds of guests arriving for Tishrei with the Rebbe.
Now available for the second year, the lodging tent was created after decades of many guests having difficulty in finding suitable accommodations near 770.
The facility offers a spacious and convenient solution for 600 guests. Honored at the mezuzah ceremony were Avremel Lokshin, the property owner, and community activists Rabbi Moshe Pinson, Meir Kabakov, and Yudi Grunberg.
The new facility was established through the initiative of several students from 770, with generous support from community leaders. The project was meticulously planned, with attention to the smallest details, aiming to provide high-quality lodging close to 770.
This year, the project is taking a major step forward. Instead of one large tent, the Lodging Campus features dozens of private caravans – offering more comfort, more privacy, and a true “home-away-from-home” experience for the Rebbe’s guests.
Take a guest upon yourself. Be a partner in the revolution of hospitality.

Where are the bathrooms?
Is there any type of closet space?
Really nice
Many of us come throughout the year who actually spend money in the community, thus benefitting the shchuna financially. Yet, these entitled bochurim are prioritized. If there was simple lodging for under $100 a night, that would help a lot of guests. Does not need to be fancy b’chlal. As in, a lot of Baal habatim have these fancy basements and charge many hundreds a night, but not everyone is looking for that. Also, not everyone wants a bed for two whole weeks.
Really incredible accommodations. Such attention to detail. Even security!!! Add more in the article.
