A chassidic farbrengen this Thursday, June 2, will be marking the first yahrzeit of Rabbi Yehoshua Dubrawsky OBM, one of the most prolific Chassidic writers in Yiddish of his time.
It will take place at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights, at 8:00 PM, on the day of his passing – the 29th of Iyar.
Many of his children and grandchildren will be coming in for the event.
A few of his colleagues from translating the Rebbe‘s sichos for the Lekutei Sichos series will be speaking: Rabbi Yoel Kahn, Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, Rabbi Sholom Jacobson and Rabbi Simon Jacobson.
Other speakers will be Crown Heights Badatz member Rabbi Yaacov Schwei, Morristown Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zalman Wilschansky, Vice Chairman of Merkos Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Director of Lubavitch Youth Organization Rabbi Shmuel Butman and Rabbi Chaim Serebransky.
Refreshments will be served and a memento booklet will be given out.
