A third teen who is accused of allegedly violently attacking and robbing two Jewish boys in Crown Heights was arrested on Monday. The boy, who is 13 years old, was arrested after he was identified in surveillance footage of the attack.
He is the third perpetrator who is seen in the video of the attack in Crown Heights two weeks ago.
The first arrest was a 16-year-old boy who was arrested in the 77th Precinct area. He has at least 6 prior arrests, police said.
The teens were part of a group of 6 thugs who attacked and violently mugged two Jewish boys in Crown Heights.
The victims were walking on Albany Avenue near Crown Street at approximately 9:15 PM when the group of 6 black teens approached them from behind, police said.
The victims heard the teens say to ‘get them,’ before they approached one of the victims and demanded he give them what was in his pockets. They then punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, police said.
Bystanders called Hatzalah, who transported the first victim to the hospital where he was treated for a broken nose and other broken bones in his face.
The NYPD 71st Precinct detectives are investigating the case, and are still searching for the other 3 perpetrators, including the ringleader of the group.
Rabbi Chanina Sperlin of the CHJCC says he and Rabbi Eli Cohen of the CHJCC and other community activists are involved to bring evidence of the violent nature of the attack, in which both victims were physically attacked, and which left one victim heavily bruised with several broken bones in his face.
“The main thing is to make sure this does not happen again,” said Chanina Sperlin. “We demand that the NYPD add more protection in the neighborhood. Our children, our families, must be able to walk safely on our streets,” he said.

What about the people walking by?! The person that actually came back to help just walked right past the boys and the gang. This is being done with people walking right past!

What is equally infuriating as the ongoing assaults on innocent Jewish people in ch is there’s ZERO repercussions for these dangerous hooligans. to release the perpetrator/s literally an hour after committing a violent crime is a crime itself we can all thank the insane Democrats for this catch and release rule which is only making NYC more and more dangerous by the day. They must face years in prison that’s the only way crime will slow down and of course more cops present all over ch .

I have been saying that ALL Jewish communities must learn Self Defence even Ladies and Children. If these savages know we can defend ourselves, these attacks will stop. Ladies do not wear long tight skirts , even older people with a Walking stick can be used as a weapon . I thought Lubuvitch Crown Heights had started giving lessons. May I suggest you find an ex IDF soldier who can teach the Israeli self defense.
