A young man fundraising for Lubavitcher Yeshiva’s campaign was robbed near Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights on Monday evening by an African American male.
Shmira volunteer patrol was immediately called and quickly located the perpetrator attempting to go into Subway station.
When the perpetrator realized he was spotted, he pulled out a knife on the responding volunteers.
Thankfully, the situation was diffused without any injuries. The NYPD soon arrived and placed the suspect under arrest.
