Doesn’t take much to make your shabbos special. Cold cuts should be used for a picnic or an emergency and not to begin with…

Oy! Your poor son…
Nice to try to lecture about tzinius thru a deli roll recipe!!!! To #16. talk about a long and unhealthy shot. Hope you are not a teacher nor a cook for that matter

Puff pastry is an item that must and needs to be removed from the market. The most uncreative thing ever. If you are going to give such an unhealthy recipe, please give an option. As in spicy ground meat or chicken

Empire Kosher also sells egg roll wrappers in their frozen food section. In fact they are frequently on sale.

Love the magazine !

Egg roll wrappers are sold at Apple Drugs in CH and btw everything in moderation, I wouldn’tmake a habit of serving them every Shabbos but once is awhile seems ok. What does the tznuis comment have to do with the food ?

while you may be right some people use such items for special occassions and some use them all the time. you cant make everyone happy all the time, only some people some of the time – thats why they post a big selection of recipes some healthier than orthers

Promote healthier options!
November 4, 2011 4:34 pm

Puff Pastry is Partially Hydrogenated and Deli Meats contain Nitrates. Many of the calamities such as obesity and sickness (the ‘C’ word) that we cry/complain about in our community is due to the food that we consume. Educate yourself and promote healthier foods. Stop feeding your families this garbage. Good Shabbos

I think its such a wonderful inyan that a lubavitch website posts such geshmake shabbos recipes. These are so important for the sake of kiddush lubavitch. This way balabustes in our holy shchuna can beautifully present shabbos meals with little effort.

I think this is specially important in today’s day and age where unfortunately many people say that crown heights is headed down hill with respect to tsniyus etc. The positive impression that our shabbos tables make will shine through all the “choshech kaful u’mechupal.”

love deli roll

Eggroll Wraps
November 4, 2011 9:35 am

This is served in all take-outs, just in eggroll wraps.
Eggrolls have no margarine, and keep better to …. and do not have to be fried- just brush with olive oil and bake in oven set to 375.
