Dear Friends and Community,
We write to you today with heavy hearts and an urgent plea for help. Our beloved son, Raphael Chaim Mayer Ben Sima Chasha, had a near-drowning accident on Friday, May 5th, and has been in the Pediatric ICU ever since. We are grateful that he survived this tragic incident, but the road to recovery is a long and challenging one.
The hospital recently informed us that they have exhausted all medical options, and our only remaining choice is to bring Raphael home under specialized care. While insurance will cover a portion of the expenses, numerous costly equipment and services are not covered. We now face the daunting reality of needing round-the-clock, full-time nurses and therapists to provide the care Refael desperately needs.
Furthermore, our current living situation is ill-equipped to handle the specialized devices required for his care. We must find a new home that can accommodate these devices while also ensuring the well-being of our other two children, who were witnesses to this harrowing incident. It is a challenging and overwhelming situation for our family, but we remain steadfast in our faith and trust in Hashem.
We humbly ask you, our dear friends and community members, for your support during this difficult time.

We understand that times are tough for everyone, and any amount, big or small, will make a significant difference in Raphael’s life. Your generosity will enable us to provide the necessary care and equipment for Raphael’s recovery and rehabilitation.
Please know that your support extends beyond financial assistance. Your thoughts, prayers, and kind words of encouragement mean the world to us and give us strength during this arduous journey. We firmly believe in the power of unity and the unwavering support of a community.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts for considering our plea and for being a pillar of strength for our family. May Hashem bless you abundantly for your kindness, compassion, and support.
With profound gratitude,
Aaron & Chasya Diament
Your bitachon is so powerful; may Hashem send the miracle of his full recovery right now!
This is a family built on tremendous amount of chesed and tzedakah, to the point of literal mesiras nefesh. Everyone should give whatever they can, and a bit more. This family, if any, deserves it.
Sending all our love
please send a miracle
I’m feeling your pain with you. Davening for a speedy full recovery for your baby!
This family inspires me. The bitochon is amazing and will be the catalyst for the complete and speedy recover very soon.
Thank you for inviting us all to join you and your family in this fight.
Looking forward to seeing clear miracles and brachos!
I say tehillim for him daily and I’m always looking out for mitzvos to do in zechus for his complete and speedy Refua Shleima. Although I’ve never met you or Rafael, my heart is with you in a way that runs deeper than blood.
Like you I am praying for revealed miracle, to merit seeing Raphael whole, well and untouched by the ordeal just like Hananiah, Mishael andAzariah. We are burdened with blessings. Hashem creates us anew every moment and that new moment is eternal, in fact is His ever presence expressed as your son. Hold forever these moments that Raphael Chaim Mayer doesn’t have a nashama but rather IS his neshama and as neshama we are really never touched by the “intrigues” but instead are eternally “straight” and “upright” as expressed in Kohelet 7:29, and never touched by what appears to the uninformed… Read more »
