Answer for you. I personally know two people who got a brocha from the Rebbe to go to college. Nowadays there are also options to get a degree in a frum environment. Better to get an education and good job than to live off of welfare and food stamps!

I was instructed by the Rebbe to ask a Rav Moreh horaah bepoal when I asked if I could finish my last year of school in Michlala instead of Kfar chabad. The Rav said no.

Such a nice read..

This was a real eye opener. As a wife and mom and student now I am so happy I didn’t go to college as a single girl. I am now in a specific program not at a university and am studying something that I know will be good for me as opposed to going years ago which would’ve been bad as far as yiddishkeit and would’ve also been a waste of time because I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to study and I wouldn’t have taken it seriously anyway.
