I still remember him quietly entering our dorm room and waking us up with a kvort of water when we were sleeping instead of being at tehilim or chassidus on shabbos morning. Ah, such fond memories…

He is much too smart to get involved in C. H. polics
As a young boy he was called an Iluy by the Rosh Yeshivah of Lakewood ZTL All thr yeshivahs he attended as a bochur he left his mark be it Baltimore Lakewood or Israel everybody wanted him to stay in their circle. But the Rosh was a true chosid of the Rebbe

I share a similar experience as #1

the most amazing thing about the rosh is the size of his heart which is equally as big as his brain. i spent 2 years in his yeshiva and those were my best years by far.

Yes about being Rav of Crown Heights with Rav Ezra Schochet there is no fooling around and the job gets done when it needs 2 get down. He has thrown ppl out of the bais medrash in middle of a speech, Rabbi Schochet is the man & he would really clean up crown heights in everyway possible.

Throughout the Lubavitch Yeshivas around the world. This is something very special about Rabbi Ezra Schochet. U don’t find any like him throughout the world. He says things the way they r & is not afraid 2 speak up. He should be the Rav of Crown Heights.

the rosh is one of a kind!

Every time I think about the Rosh, (as well as the other Yeshiva staff, but especially the rosh) my heart gets warm inside and my heart yearns for the 3 wonderful years that I have spent in his yeshiva. I feel so very blessed that my parents were given a very nice tuition break that enabled me to be there. It was my 3 best years of yeshiva.
