Truly inspiring for a young Shliach to watch
June 16, 2011 4:18 pm

I am a young Shliach and watching this video was very inspiring and reminding us what Shlichus is all about and the focus should be on the Shlichus of mitzvos maasiyois and the “realness” of Chabad and this was very inspiring. Thank you for sharing this video

if u read what i wrote, that exactly what i wrote n meant,
= “all thogh the person thaught that he is syaing it as hes old school in a good way ” etc, but you are right i was there n he was a true chossid in essence we all are, we just can’t be afraid to show n, stop labeling people “chasidish”, b/c all were doing is degrating their self esteem from continuing.

i don’t know what they had in mind when they put that title, but i have no doubt that its a major compliment!!!

in a time when you have rabbis walking around with polo shirts, trying to be hip on campus etc. etc. reb avraham a”h stands out as the traditional shliach of the rebbe – the way every should is meant to think and act

in that sense “old school” means the real school. the real deal!

may he be a gutte beter on us all

what about the hundreds of ppl who came to the event in honor of his yortzeit???

how come there is only a video which was shown at the event and not pics of the event itself???

But for the rest of us, I think it is important to know that he was not “old school” just emes. Everything he did was with pure and total emes and simcha. If that is old school, then I don’t want to know what is “new school” or today’s school. Rabbi Levitansky impacted thousands of lives and the ripple effect will stretch into the millions, and he did it with pure… Read more »
