Rabbi Eli Schlanger noticed people. He showed up when you needed him, sometimes without even realising you did. A father whose children were his joy, a presence that made every room feel warmer and a man whose humour, kindness and generosity lifted those around him.
Eli found meaning in the small moments, a drive, a conversation, shared laughter. His Judaism, his love for family and his devotion to community were not separate parts of his life. They were who he was.
