A couple of summers ago I was all of 16 years old traveling Italy, when I got to venice, a nice bochur asked me if I would like to put on the tefillin, I don’t think I did, but when I met rabbi banin, he looked at me as if I was one of the buchrim on shluchos! Giving me a place to sleep food to eat, making me feel like a belonged somewhere, not focusing on the external, but rather that we are really all the same, it was there in venice where I decided to go to yeshiva… Read more »
