Dear Nechama’s Closet
I just wanted to tell you my story so you know your organization is helping people.
I’m 1 of 9 children knh, I have a brother who’s unwell and my father doesn’t work. My mother works so hard to try and make ends meet but sometimes (most of the times really) money runs short.
I knew when it came to getting married I would need the help. I was working 3 jobs myself but barely living as 1 of the jobs hadn’t paid me 8 months. When I got engaged to an orphan… I knew it would be tough.
I got turned down by other organizations as I was told I’m “from out of town.” I called you up and you didn’t care where I came from or what my full situation was you told me to come by the next day. You treated me so kindly and with dignity. I did not feel ashamed by the fact I had to take.
Thank you.
Thank you for giving me the chance to give back somewhat to your organization. Yes I bought tickets already! Thank you for not just giving me monetary help but giving me my dignity and telling me to not feel ashamed.
Signed, Grateful

They helped me as well – and didn’t make me feel bad for my situation. It’s never easy to ask – especially got yourself. Thank you so much! One day I pray to be at a place where I could repay your kindness and help other kallahs as well. Thank you!
