Non-stop davening.
Many Chabad chassidim and bochurim spent the yomtov of Simchas Torah at the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens, New York, for the annual joyous celebration of completing the reading of the Torah.
When news broke out that Israel was at war – the bloodiest single attack on Jews in the Holy Land in recent history – Lubavitchers turned their focus to recite Tehillim and daven on behalf of those injured and kidnapped.
They had in mind those who are part of Israel’s security forces and are sacrificing their lives to protest and save lives.
At the conclusion of Simchas Torah, a group was formed to hold Tehillim Shifts to “daven for victory” at the Rebbe’s Ohel.
Transportation on buses are being arranged, organizers told COLlive.com. “We are trying to send out as many shifts to say Tehillim.”
