Years ago, before a major operation in Gaza, similar to this one, when the soldiers were gathering before entering, Hevron Shliach Danny Cohen went with Bochurim to the serve the soldiers. They brought Tefillin, CocaCola and packages of new underwear. Danny had been a combat soldier and he recalled how uncomfortable it was to be in the field for days without laundry. So he gave out fresh underwear.
