The barrage of missles falling in the city of Ashkelon, Israel, did not deter the Shliach to the Migdal neighborhood, Rabbi Uri Cohen, from visiting the wounded soldiers in the Barzilai Medical Center.
Rabbi Cohen thanked the soldiers for their fight to protect citizens of southern Israel, and wished them a speedy recovery. The soldiers put on tefillin with tears in their eyes, thanking G-d for their sparing their lives.
One of the soldiers showed Rabbi Cohen the bullet that was taken out of his arm. He said, “These same arms that were hit with a bullet, just put on tefillin.”
Rabbi Cohen also distributed Tehillims to the soldiers.
