Chabad of Western Pennsylvania made a strong showing at last week’s NFL Draft, setting up two stations that served as hubs of Yiddishkeit for Jewish attendees and sports fans.
Organized by local Shluchim and spearheaded by Rabbi Henoch Rosenfeld of CYP Pittsburgh and Rabbi Yitzi Goldwasser of Chabad of Greenfield, the initiative operated under the direction of Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld, director of Chabad of Western PA.
Throughout the two-day event, the stations saw a steady flow of participants putting on Tefillin, enjoying kosher food, and connecting with fellow Yidden.
Local Shluchim rotated shifts alongside members of Anash, with bochurim from the Yeshiva Schools 8th grade, Mesivta, and the Pittsburgh Zal joining in the effort, helping create a welcoming and energetic presence at one of the country’s most high-profile sporting events.

It’s so nice to see Rabbi Huda Gorkin; he’s a great shaliach!
Thank you Rabbi Yitzi!
You always bring the fun!!
