Tearful Levaya for Young New Jersey Shliach

The heartbreaking levaya of Rabbi Levi Wolosow, a young father and Shliach in New Jersey who dedicated his life to teaching and engaging Jewish people, was held on Tuesday.

It first passed by Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York, on the way to burial at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens.

He suddenly passed away at the age of 43 after collapsing during a family trip to the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chanele Wolosow (Chazanow); their children Nochum, Dov, Mendel, Tzipa, Miriam, and Uziel; and their adopted children, Naomi and Tani.

He is survived by his parents, Rabbi Chaim and Sara Wolosow – Sharon, Massachusetts; siblings, Mrs. Rivky Horowitz – Canton, Massachusetts; Mrs. Goldie Plotkin – Crown Heights and formerly of Toronto; Mrs. Mimi Wilhelm – Portland, Oregon; R’ Pasi Wolosow – Toronto, Canada; Mrs. Mushkie Lowenthal – Crown Heights; Mrs. Chanie Minkowitz – Sharon, Massachusetts; R’ Leibel Wolosow – Crown Heights; Mendy Wolosow – Hallandale, Florida; R’ Berri Wolosow – Crown Heights; R’ Zalmi Wolosow – Crown Heights; R’ Shmuly Wolosow – Pittsburgh, PA; nieces and nephews.
