Oholei Torah melmadim, Morahs and staff received a most generous show of appreciation just before Yom Tov, receiving a monetary gift from the Oholei Torah PTA.
“The devoted leaders of the Oholei Torah PTA well understand the hard work and dedication that the teachers have, working with each talmid individually and keeping them excited, intrigued and captivated as they grow in learning and in that special chassidishe feeling that ‘Oholei Torah’niks’ are known for,” the administration said.
The gift, coming right before Pesach, was a most welcome surprise, but also, and even more so, showed the melamdim that they are important, and the work they do is appreciated. And as the PTA understands, when the melamdim and staff are happy, it directly benefits the talmidim, and that is the ultimate goal of the PTA.
Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director, said he has “no words to thank the PTA for their energy and astonishing results they have brought to Oholei Torah. Their devotion has most positive effects on all aspects of the mossad.”

What an honorable gesture. There is no greater investment we can make than in the teachers of our children. It is often a profession that has unsung heroes. Teachers are our investment in the future of our communities. Thank you teachers!!

I wish each and every teacher in every mosad could be earning a hundred thousand dollars a year, without increasing parents tuition, because that is what you are worth, if not more!! Thank you to mt grandchildren’s teachers this year- I appreciate their growth in yiras shomayim, ahavas Hashem, simchas hachaim, and so much more!
The teachers get bonuses from various sources before Yom tov.
I believe every school needs to give their teachers a bonus every so often. They work so hard and really put in so much effort for our children.
In CH very few people care about their children’s chinuch.
In other cities teachers get yom tov bonuses from generous individuals

teachers really work hard for our children and they def deserve..Just so sad that I also work in a Chabad girls school in CH (Bais Rivka) and have NEVER received any bonus…Unless you call a muffin and drink a bonus…Oholei Torah Ibergegeben from the Top Rabii Yossel Rosenfeld.
