Young women finishing up their seminary year are now thinking about next steps. Teaching? Shlichus? Career? How to maintain their ruchniusdike standards from seminary and maintain a healthy structure, while beginning adult life on their own?
To answer these questions, the staff of Menachem Education Foundation’s Teach for Lubavitch (TFL) program toured seminaries worldwide, sharing the opportunity to join a Chinuch Shlichus that combines full-fledged teachings jobs and hands-on experience with a structured program of teacher training, mentorship, shiurim and more.
Morah Shana Tiechtel, TFL director, visited Beit Chana and Seminary Chaya Mushka in Tzfas, Machon Shoshana and Ohr Chaya in Yerushalayim, Ohel Chana in Australia, and Bais Rivkah Seminary in Crown Heights. Mrs. Rivka Holzman, TFL administrator, spoke to students at the Maharal Institute in Prague, and Bais Chana in Milan. Through Farbrengens, discussions, and one-on-one meetings, they shared the vision of Chinuch as Shlichus—empowering young women to step into the classroom with confidence, mentorship, and a strong foundation in Chassidishe Chinuch.
This year’s seminary students were excited to hear about this option that provides a real teaching job, continued learning, a Shlichus experience and teacher training credits all rolled into one – without the financial burden. With the growing need for passionate and well-trained teachers in Chabad schools, Teach for Lubavitch is offering post-seminary students a meaningful and practical next step, together with the opportunity to make an impact.
