The Comunidad Israelita of Guadalajara and Chabad of Guadalajara, Mexico, directed by Rabbi Avrohom Srugo, printed the Tanya this summer with the help of his son-in-law Rabbi Mendel Sasson, who was in Mexico directing the Yeshivas Kayitz Mexico Summer program.
The Jewish community, which caters to 500 Jews, is very excited about the Yeshiva summer program. “Having the camp here has brought young Chabad bochurim’s energy and enthusiasm,” they said, and the boys were welcomed with open arms.
Now with the printing of the Tanya, they are looking forward to a new wave of Yiddishkeit in their community and in their own personal lives. Copies of the Tanyas were delivered to the Rebbe’s Library in 770 and Rabbi Jacobson.
“A big thank you to Mr. Roberto and Mrs. Lizette Elias for sponsoring the printing of the Tanyas, we wish them many more years filled with Nachas, Gezunt and success in all their endeavors,” said Rabbi Srugo. “May we merit the coming of Moshiach now!”
