Mrs. Tanya Leah Friedman, a mother and grandmother from Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, 22 Sivan, 5778.
She was 77.
Mrs. Friedman and her husband Shalom Friedman were close friends of Shluchim Rabbi Zalman obm and Rebbetzin Shula Kazen, who brought them to the Rebbe on many occasions for Yechidus.
The Friedmans were very involved in the early growth of the Cleveland Chabad community, remaining longtime active members.
She is survived by her husband Shalom Friedman, and children, Mrs. Henya Abramowitz – Crown Heights, Mrs. Sonya Yiftach – Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Stacy Gutnick – Los Angeles, CA, Rabbi Yossi Friedman – Crown Heights, Mr. Eli Friedman – Crown Heights, Mrs. Devorah Lawrence – Crown Heights, Mrs. Chana Keller – Crown Heights, and Mendel Friedman – Cleveland, OH.
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, in Cleveland. Shiva information to be announced.
