Gimmel Tammuz started early in Sydney, Australia. Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, Wednesday evening, the community gathered under the auspices of Rabbi Pinchus Feldman OAM and Chabad NSW in honour of the Rebbe, commemorating the 28th Hilulah since 5754.
The Farbrengen took place at Chabad Double Bay and drew members from across the diverse range of the community.
Special Guest speaker, Rabbi Yossi Raskin, came in from New York to inspire those gathered with his message of hope and friendship. starting his address based on the recent Hayom Yom’s which speak of Gmilus Chesed and Hashgocha Protis. Rabbi Raskin shared many stories and anecdotes during his talk.
Those present were also moved by the powerful message of the Jem video of the Rebbe, Marching Orders.
The Farbrengen was coordinated by Chabad Youth NSW.
