A man is wanted after chasing a bochur with a knife in an attempted stabbing Wednesday night in Crown Heights.
The attempted stabbing occurred at approximately 7:45 PM near Eastern Parkway and Kingston Ave when the suspect and victim nearly collided while riding electric scooters. The perpetrator responded to the near-accident by producing a knife and pursuing the victim and destroying the victim’s scooter. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Crown Heights Shmira and NYPD officers conducted an immediate search of the area, but the suspect had already fled. Shmira has released a photo of the perpetrator. Anyone who spots the perpetrator should contact Crown Heights Shmira immediately at 718-221-0303.

These scooters are a serious pandemic.
Nevermind our wives and children are in danger from the boys and bochurim on scooters, I’ve seen countless non Jews get really angry (justifiably) at the way they are riding at crazy speeds and ways on the sidewalk.

Bochurim and boys are terrorizing the sidewalks and putting women, children, elderly in danger all day and night. The scooters are driven at very very high speeds, our motorized, and are being driven recklessly for the most part. Get off the sidewalk. Parents, wake up and supervise your child. Don’t let him ride this massive scooter on the sidewalk just cuz he asked you to.
Every day intersection, cars blowing through reds, driving recklessly and endangering our families.

I turned around surprised

He then gave me a dirty look and we t on the street
There is no educating children with manners and how to speak and behave

Most scooter riders are on the sidewalk speeding.. I yell, “Hay slow down”. It doesn’t help. They should be on the street with helmets, end of discussion.

The traffic lights aren’t the only thing that’s gonna turn red! On multiple occasions, I have seen bochurim riding fast and without a helmet.
