Chabad of the Five Towns is proud to announce that there is a Sukkah on the grounds of St. Francis Hospital and Mercy Hospital.
A group of teen volunteers, headed by David Mark, worked together to build both Sukkahs, allowing patients and visitors to partake in the Mitzvah of making a bracha and eating in the Sukkah.
If you are visiting a patient in either hospital over Sukkot, we welcome you to eat in our Sukkah and use the Lulav and Esrog provided by Chabad of the Five Towns.
As a community reminder, there is a Bikur Cholim suite in Mercy Hospital as well as one in St. Francis Hospital. Both rooms are well stocked and well maintained. Many thanks to Chaim and Tovah Brill for their ongoing unconditional dedication for the Bikur Cholim Suites. Thank you to Mercy Hospital and St. Francis Hospital for providing the space for both the Bikur Cholim Suite and the Sukkah. This is truly a community service and is much appreciated.
