For a place that bills itself the first Steakhouse in Brooklyn, T Fusion Steakhouse pretty much lives up to its name – and that is not an easy task.
Located in Marine Park, far from the eatery scene, a 150 gem crystal chandelier and stunning 65″ custom art work welcome you on the first floor, showing its care for detail.
The sleek muted tones against dark wood accents give a warm, yet sophisticated feeling, and a bar in the corner gives a real trendy vibe. The service is excellent, and the waiters were very attentive. The food was served almost immediately.
With two dining floors available for lunch, dinner or just drinks, the restaurant is cozy, but not crowded. Space between tables leave enough room for personal conversation.
As our appetizers were served, a pair of musicians took their seats at the front of the restaurant, playing live jazz music, which was a real treat.
Being a steakhouse, the menu has a variety of steaks – obviously – however there are a variety of other interesting dishes such as entrecote burger with wild mushroom ragout, onions and garlic aioli, rack of lamb and crispy duck.
For an appetizer we had chicken egg rolls, which were seriously unbelievable – chicken breast sauteed with ginger, garlic, scallions and sauce, served with a spicy aioli.
We also had boneless braised short ribs in a teriyaki glaze, which literally melted in your mouth, the work of Executive Chef Eric Akcklowitz and Chef Daniel Rivera.
For the main course, we had rib eye steaks, served with 6 different house condiments, and the fries were excellent – crispy and homemade.
The desserts were really the best part of the experience. We tried both the chocolate melt away with ice cream, which was delicious, and the bourbon bread pudding, which was really incredible. A kind of bread pudding, slow baked in a bourbon and coffee liquor custard, and topped with whipped cream. You could not tell it was parve!
So if you are looking for a great place to eat out, where you are really “going out to dinner” but don’t want the hassle of driving and parking in the city, I would definitely recommend T-Fusion Steakhouse as a sophisticated and delicious choice.

Yes, I was there, and they have Lubavitcher Shchita upon request.
My overall rating of the place is 5 stars. Only negative is the time it took to prepare my steak, which was about 45 minutes. Other than that the service, atmosphere and food was outstanding.
Bravo. I would like to shake your hand.
FYI: In Moscow you have more Lubavitcher Shechita restaurants than NYC!!!!!!!
