The Bochurim in yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Montreal successfully “conquered” the streets of Montreal over Chanukah, and in just 4 nights of mivtzoim they gave out over 550 Menorahs and did tens of hadlakahs in people’s houses.
The first night, after a joyful send off with singing and dancing, the Bochurim stormed the train stations and inspired the many young Jewish college students in the city of Montreal.
The Bochurim then rented 5 pickup trucks and 3 mitzvah tanks and went off to many different locations and shluchim in and around Montreal, inspiring the Jewish people they met.
On the last night following an extremely successful night of street moivtzoim downtown, the Bochurim gathered in Westmount square, an upper class section of downtown and launched a car Menorah parade throughout bustling downtown Montreal and through central Montreal all the way back to yeshiva.
