Just in time for Shabbos Mevorchim Elul, singer and chazzan Leibel Hecht has released a new song, “Mi Sheasa Nissim”. This warm melody, styled like a Jewish oldie from the 1980s, is a heartfelt thank you for the various miracles we have seen recently in Eretz Yisroel. The timing is perfect, as the words come right from the Shabbos Mevarchim davening.
Since the tragic events of October 7th, Leibel has been on a mission to uplift Jewish communities worldwide through his music. His travels have taken him across the globe, most recently to Melbourne, Australia, where his performances have brought comfort and inspiration to many.
In addition to his latest single, Leibel recently produced the album “ROOTS – Songs of Our People,” a collection of traditional Jewish songs accompanied by explanatory tracks. This unique project aims to deepen listeners’ connection to their heritage through Jewish music and education.

They were cer- tain that he had written a will, but no amount of searching brought it to light. On the morning shivah had ended, one of the sons decided to go to his father’s grave to daven that the family would be able… Read more »
the relevant part here is when it said:
“Hashem has the great-
est nachas when Klal Yisrael joins to-
gether as one people to sing songs of
praise to Him, es-
pecially on Shab-
bos and Yom Tov.”
so what i think we need is for multiple people to organize collective prayer singing on a routine basis by the men. in every shul everywhere, at least once a week.
