Sofer (scribe) Avrohom Dovid Wolffe of the STAM CENTER LA is embarking on a landmark initiative, visiting new communities which he never visited yet, around Los Angeles to check and repair Mezuzot and Tefillin.
This comes in response to the recent devastating fires that have left many searching for renewed spiritual protection and comfort in these challenging times. A project of Bais Chana of California, the STAM CENTER LA is taking unprecedented steps to extend its services, ensuring that families and communities have access to kosher Mezuzot and Tefillin— mitzvot which the Torah promises will bring protection and blessings.
The Torah, in the Shema prayer, declares: “And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.” This mitzvah comes with the Divine promise of long life and protection for you and your children. With fires underscoring the need for safety and security, many are recognizing the importance of ensuring that their Mezuzot are properly affixed and kosher, as mandated by Torah law.
Why Check?
Over time, scrolls in Mezuzot and Tefillin can become disqualified, or even errors in their original creation. Some Mezuzot, and Tefillin, though beautiful externally, may never have been kosher. Provide Quality Assessments: Offer free analyses of the overall durability and quality of your Mezuzot and Tefillin.
Perform On-Site Home Visits: Travel to homes and synagogues across the area to remove, check, and properly reinstall Mezuzot.
Supply New Kosher Mezuzot: Supply those in need with authentic, kosher Mezuzot that meet Torah law standards.
