Moria Zecharia, 32, went to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, Israel, on Thursday. At 10:22 PM, the mother gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
The next day, on Friday, her younger sister Hodaya Weberman came to the hospital to visit her sister and nephew.
As the 30-year-old Weberman was sitting and chatting, she felt contractions herself.
She was immediately rushed to the labor room in the same maternity ward and soon gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Doctors and the medical staff admired the fact that both sisters gave birth within 19 hours – both on the Hebrew date of Tammuz 27.
They were even more fascinated to learn that Zecharia had 3 girls and 1 boy at home, while Weberman has 3 boys and 1 girl. Both mothers were born in the Kaplan hospital.
The sisters wished each other Mazal Tov and were thrilled to spend the Shabbos together in the same hospital room.
“There was a great celebration in the hospital,” Weberman told the media outlet Arim News. “We are very close sisters. I am the 9th in the family and she is the 10th. We will be celebrating our kids birthdays together.”
