Mayan Yisroel of Flatbush, under the leadership of Rabbi Yoseph Vigler, is once again taking single mothers and their children on a chol hamoed trip to Dorney Park.
Now in its second year, Mayan Yisroel Extended Family (MYEF) has branched into: big brother/big sister, mentoring, extra curricular activities, school advocacy, parent support, financial assistance and a crisis hotline as well as the regular fun and educational programs that run throughout the year.
Our goal is to provide much needed emotional and physical support to children who need it the most. Often a single mother is lacking the financial means to get the services that her children need and this is where MYEF steps in. With the guidance of licensed social workers we can determine exactly what each family needs and work to fill those goals in a professional and confidential manner.
This chol hamoed Sukkos over 200 women and children will be treated to a free trip to Dorney Park. We want every child to enjoy the chag and for some it can be a little harder when they can’t celebrate with the whole family together.
BH we have almost filled 3 buses to capacity but there are limited tickets available. Please contact [email protected] for more details. This trip is only free for single mothers and their children.
