Mrs. Shulamis Bush, a longtime resident of Crown Heights and wife of Professor Baruch Bush, passed away on Erev Shabbos, 19 Iyar 5779.
She was 74 and suffered from a lengthy illness.
She is survived by her husband and children Sarah Pizer-Bush – San Francisco, CA; Chava Bassin – Sydney, Australia, and Rabbi Dovid Bush – Petaluma, CA; many grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Lila Youngs – Ojai, CA, and sister Elizabeth Youngs – Lafayette, CA.
The Levaya will take place Monday morning, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 10:00 am and passing by 770 at 10:45 am.
The family will be sitting Shiva at 1503 President St, Brooklyn, NY 11213

Because of Shulamis Bush , the booklet , The shaitel advantage came to sydney, Australia around 15 years go , as she left it for me to see. Because of that little book, which was able to be disseminated and taught to wide audiences in Australia , big miracles happened, a lecture series started and a curriculum for seminary began . Shulamis was a fine and dignified woman. She always greeted others with a smile and a good word. She was beautiful inside and out and raised fine children. She will be sorely missed.
