Shula Swerdlov, OBM, three year old daughter of R’ Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov of Jerusalem, was killed in a hit and run accident in Rechavia today.
The child was hit by a passing car after she was dropped off near her home after school on Monday.
She was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in critical condition, but they were unable to save her.
R’ Yossi Swerdlov is active in the Chabad organizations Children of Chernobyl and the Terror Victim’s Project. He is the son of R’ Leibel and Miryam Swerdlov of Crown Heights and the nephew of R’ Yoel Kahan.
Hindel is the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Schwartz, one of the first shluchim in Los Angeles.
