As Chabad chassidim around the world prepare for the great Yomtov of Hei Teves, a day that the Rebbe instituted as a “Yom Segula v’Eis Ratzon”, Vaad Or V’Chom Hahiskashrus are preparing a very special program – unique of its kind – to mark Hei Teves on Thursday evening at 9pm.
With Hei Teves being on Shabbos this year, in addition to a complete program of shiurim and farbrengens, as well as special arrangements being made to accommodate the hundreds of Anash, shluchim and bochrim who will come to spend Hei Teves by the Rebbe’s Ohel (organizers ask to those attending to fill out the following link: http://bit.ly/Shabbos5Teves5778 ), a special program will be held on Thursday evening.
The program will feature unique video clips from the period of the court case and the victory, as well as the events surrounding them in 770 with personal reflections by Rabbi Yossi Lew and Rabbi Ruvi New – both of whom experienced the events up close in New York with the Rebbe.
Plan for a inspiring evening program with your family and join Chassidim around the world for this “in-home” global event as we prepare for this very special day – Thursday, Gimmel Teves December 21st at 9:00 pm EDT.

Throughout the world, very specific initiatives have been launched in order to fulfill the Rebbe’s directives that the victory of the Seforim have an impact through tangible expression in the lives of Chassidim and in the work of spreading Chassidus. Dozens of communities have organized Farbrengens; numerous schools have incorporated a recently published Hei Teves Curriculum; Seforim outlets are announcing their special Hei Teves discounts; a new webpage dedicated to studying the Rebbe’s words about this central episode of Dor Hash’vi’i has been created at www.shluchimcommittee.com/HeiTeves; and more.
