Mrs. Yehudis Lison, a long-time resident of the Kfar Chabad village in central Israel, passed away on Friday, 5 Iyar 5775.
She was 86.
A daughter of the famed Mashpia R’ Shlomo Chaim Kesselman, she was known for her pious ways which included heartfelt davening and doing Mitzvos. She would often go on Mivtzoim to help other Jews do the same.
She is survived by her husband R’ Avrohom Lison – Kfar Chabad, their children R’ Yomtov Lison – Montreal, Canada; R’ Shmuel Tzvi Hirsh Lison – Kfar Chabad; R’ Yosef Yitzchok Lison – Nachlas Har Chabad; R’ Shlomo Chaim Lison – Haifa, Mrs. Rivka Schildkraut – Haifa, Mrs. Chana Shmulevich – Beit Shaan; Mrs. Sterna Alperovitch, Kfar Chabad; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, the Mashpia R’ Zev Kesselman. Due to his age, it was decided not to share with him the news of his sister’s passing.
The funeral took place on Friday and she was buried on the Har Hazeisim cemetery in Jerusalem.

She was a true tzadeikes in every way… Her davening and tehillim was something very special to see. May the family have true nechama
I would stop by late at the “Shichunim” Shul at the end of Kfar on Shabbat night. Up until past twelve her husband would sing niggunim alone at the back right of the shul. It was something to behold. I hope that he will continue to sing to HaShem those sweet songs even if tho’ his life partner A”H has gone ahead.
Will be sorely missed.
She would have children come to her house from school daily to put tzedaka in the pushka and recite: :Gedola Tzedaka Shemekareves Es Hageulah” and then she would give them biscuits and a cold drink.
All the children of Kfar Chabad know her because of that. They would’nt miss it for anything!
A big Tzadekes!
