We should consider moving to Israel to strengthen the Jewish nation and grow its numbers. Not out of fear but because we have the opportunity.
I think the primary question is whether the antisemitism is the USA is growing and going to become something intolerable that Jews need to escape from.
The Rebbeim (Frierdiker Rebbe and our Rebbe) did escape the Nazis and in hindsight the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbeim of other Chassidic groups should have encouraged their followers to leave Europe. Much of European Jewry would have been saved.
In the days of Meir Kahane. HY”D, there was a clarion
call to compel the Arabs to leave (with financial compensation) Israel.
The fear was that by intensive propagation, they could become the
majority in a few decades.
Over 30 years ago, there was a radio show, where an Israeli
representative was the guest (I’m not sure he was a Knesset member).
He was not appreciative of a caller’s idea of kicking any one people out.
He said like this: “All of you come live in Israel, and then you will be the majority.”
Israel is still the safest place to live.
Nevertheless, after losing 1,200 in just
hours (Holocaust level),plus some missiles, unfortunately,
having the exception of causing a few casualties –
wouldn’t that be a hard one to sell?
I am not sure you can just tell that to just anyone.
